Attacks on U.S. election integrity could have lasting damage

Courts have rejected President Trump's lawsuits hoping to overturn the election, but some fear it could have a lasting impact, especially among black and Latino voters. “What it does is cement in the mind of some segments of the American populace the fact that elections are unfair when minorities participate,” says Justin Levitt, a professor at Loyola Law School and a former attorney at the Department of Justice.
